Mariam Elbagoury

Mariam El Bagoury is an Egyptian female director based in Cairo, with over 15 years of experience. Highly motivated and passionate about her craft, she has become one of the top female directors in Egypt.

At a very young age; Mariam used to write and direct short-films and sketches. She studied filmmaking in IAEMS; and she worked as an assistant director for almost 12 years in movies and series.

In 2019, Mariam became a director. She is also a member of the "cinema syndicate". Throughout her journey she started with directing two tv shows; one on discovery and the other was on Fatafeet channel. Then she directed an online series entitled "confessions" in collaboration with Facebook and Unilever.

Not only that she directed more than 100 ads but also she directed the "Hatshupsut song" of the most historical event "Kebash Road". Moreover; she directed Gouna film festival song "Dokki Ya Mazikka by Ramy Ayach" also a music video "Lelly by Mohamed Mounir". In addition to a short-film "Captian Omar".
